Message: Dear Kaye and Keith, after a while (let's say a year) I took heart and visited your website! Looks very good! (nice pictures!) :D I wish I were there, standing on top of a hill with Ruben James. I think back to these days quite often! (and to all the sleepless nights, haha) The time I had at your farm was awesome! Did you ever get my letter for Christmas? Have a good time, all the best! Regards from Switzerland, Maja

Message: Hi, just came across your site looking for info on Kurow itself, great site.I used to live in Kurow about 13 years ago, married Scott McMillan (scooter) and moved up to Lower Hutt. We have two children, Josh (15) and Megan (12). I remeber we had a black labrador when Josh was a toddler and Keith took it for a gun dog, Josh called him buster. Scott works as a Leather Technican in Petone, a far cry from the shearing sheds!! Thought I'd say hello and hopefully make it down there again some day to see the town and people again. Message: Hi Kaye and Keith,we parked up our campervan at your place last year in March (Maybe you remember our struggle to fill up the fresh water tank?) First we drove past the sign on the road but then decided to turn around and check out the place. We were starting to doubt that we took the right turn but then we actually did arrive and what a good decision that was. It was one of the most memorable places we stayed (and none of the others were exactely bad) and we so much appreciated a home cooked dinner especially as we showed up unexpected (best left overs you can imagine). Also the drive up the hill in the Landrover the next day left a lasting impression. So now we are moving to Wellington for 2 years. Joe is already there and Speights (our dog) and I will fly over end of Jan. We'd love to come and see you again some time and will def. recommend you to all our friends that have promised to come and visit us in NZ. Happy New Year, Susanne - now: Cheshire, England, soon: Wellington!

Message: I've driven past this sign a number of times, and often wondered about a backpackers stop a little off the beaten tourist track - looks an interesting idea tho! - Dunedin, New Zealand
