Team up with one of our quiet farm hacks and enjoy a guided horse trek riding over tussock and undulating lush farmland while soaking in the stunning scenery and views from the mountains to the sea.

We specialise in guided treks with a maximum of 4 riders per group. Our trekking guides are experienced riders and will personalise your horse trek or experience to suit your ability and confidence.

Those with some knowledge and experience will enjoy riding a reliable horse within a small, personalised tour group with an experienced trekking guide. Experienced riders are welcome to bring their own horses, and since the farm is spread over an impressive 1583 hectares there is plenty of scope for riders to enjoy a wonderful day of horse riding.

Safety hard hats are available however each rider will require closed toe footwear and we suggest riders wear long pants and bring a wind jacket.

Horse Trek Rates (Prices are in New Zealand Currency)

• $75.00 per person - 2 hour guided horse trek
• $110.00 per person - 3 hour guided horse trek
• $140.00 per person – 4 hours guided horse trek
• Longer rides by arrangement and a quotation willingly given.

• Basic Deal - $100.00 per person
  Enjoy a two hour high country horse trek and one night Backpacker accommodation.

• De Luxe Deal - $145.00 - $155.00 per person
  Enjoy a two hour high country horse trek and one night Farmstay Dinner, Bed & Breakfast accommodation.

Treks are suitable for riders aged 12 years and over  who are confident and competent riders. Pony rides on a lead are available for smaller children.
