Enjoy a guided horse trek riding over tussock and undulating lush farmland while soaking in the stunning scenery and views from the mountains to the sea.

We specialise in guided treks with a maximum of 3 riders per group. Our trekking guides are experienced riders and will personalise your horse trek or experience to suit your ability and confidence.

Safety hard hats are available however each rider will require closed toe footwear and we suggest riders wear long pants and bring a wind jacket.

Horse Trek Rates (Prices are in New Zealand Currency)

• $60.00 per person - 1 hour guided horse trek
• $90.00 per person - 2 hour guided horse trek
• $115.00 per person - 3 hour guided horse trek
• $130.00 per person - 3.5 hour guided horse trek
• $145.00 per person - 4 hour guided horse trek
• $250.00 per person - a day guided horse trek (lunch provided)
• Quotation willingly given.

• Basic Deal - $120.00 per person
  Enjoy a two hour high country horse trek and one night Backpacker accommodation.

• De Luxe Deal - $160.00 - $170.00 per person
  Enjoy a two hour high country horse trek and one night Farmstay Dinner, Bed & Breakfast accommodation.

Packages which include longer or shorter rides available on request.

Treks are suitable for riders aged 10 years and over who are confident and competent riders.

Pony rides on a lead are available for smaller children.
